The Dream

I’m Fern Trent, 29. In May 2026, I ride from the top of the world to the bottom.

I’ve wanted this since I was 12. At 18: New Zealand + Australia. Since then: Iceland, Italy, the Alps. Every year, another piece of the map.

This time? No rush. Years to ride. A Stanforth custom. 50 others starting the same week. Locals. Stories. You.

Originally from the UK, I grew up in South London, living not too far from many historical castles, before moving to Cambridge at 18, where I studied Zoology at university in the heart of the city, where football was first invented, where Sir Isaac Newton’s apple tree still grows, and where Pink Floyd came together.

Before university, from the ages of 12 - 18, I was a somewhat professional magician, albeit an adolescent one. I performed stage shows, close up, and TV magic nationally. I briefly owned the Guinness World Record for the Highest Throw of A Playing Card!

So all of this experience, in biological science, in entertainment, and in long distance adventuring, leads us here. To the largest trip I've ever attempted. Where all roads lead to Argentina, and you're coming with me!
